Espace Public Numérique (Digital Public Space)
Citizens can learn to use a computer, get online, or take generally free computer training or an advanced course at their own pace, in accordance with the programme offered by their commune.
The job of the BRIC’s EPN service is to ensure this public space (school, municipal premises) has the appropriate IT equipment, such as desktops, laptops, monitors, printers and interactive projectors. All software is open source. The BRIC also helps reduce the digital divide in the Brussels-Capital Region by maintaining this equipment for a period of four years.
The Brussels-Capital Region has a digital public space in every commune.
