European Artificial Intelligence Week takes place from 14 to 18 March 2022. This full week is an opportunity to discover the influence and potential of AI in society and in private and professional life, now and in the future. The BRIC will be present at a special session on AI in the Brussels Region.

European AI Week, organised by AI4Belgium, is back for a second event. The programme includes inspiring conferences, workshops, new perspectives and public debates.

The BRIC's Director General, Nicolas Locoge, and Deputy Director, Marc Van den Bossche, will speak at the AI for Brussels session from 4pm to 5.30pm on Monday 14 March. They will express their views on the BRIC's role in the development of AI at the regional level to allow for more informed decision-making, better knowledge of the needs of citizens and businesses, more precise targeting of controls and the development of useful tools for users and professionals.  The investment in AI in the public sector in the Brussels-Capital Region is intended to cover the needs of the administration, but also wants to provide for the entirety of the economic and academic spheres.
