Belgian Road Congress

The Belgian Road Congress, which is organised by Brussels Mobility every four years, is to take place at the Square from 4 to 6 October 2017.

This Congress is intended for professionals involved in the construction, management and operation of the road, such as highway and network managers, contractors, engineering and design firms and research centres.

This year, the two-and-a-half-day congress will provide a complete overview of the many facets of the road today, promoting exchanges between the various players.

The programme is centred on the different phases in the life of road infrastructure: design, construction, maintenance and operation.

Special emphasis will be placed on the aspects of the road in urban areas, smart mobility, the quality of the public space and services for users.

Céline Vanderborght, Smart City Manager of the Brussels-Capital Region, will speak on this subject on Wednesday, 4 October: Smart Mobility – Big Data.

The BRIC is sponsoring this event and will have its own stand where our staff will present various solutions: Fix My Street, UrbIS solutions, Open Data, wifi.brussels, etc.
