Need to enrol your children in primary school? It's a cinch with IRISbox!

Enrolment for preschool or primary school students in municipal French-language schools in Forest, Evere, Jette, St-Gilles and Uccle can now be done through IRISbox!

Quick, easy and ergonomic

Ever since the success of the test project conducted with the municipal government of Forest in 2018, this offering of online services has had growing success all throughout the Brussels region, and for good reason: the enrolment process could not be any easier! After connecting with an electronic identity card or through the application ItsMe, for example, your family composition will automatically be displayed, thanks to the platform's connection to the National Registry: no need to keep specifying the same information or hurry, since the time of your request will be the same time that you opened your session online.

Transparency and traceability

Once your enrolment request has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation with the date and time of your request: discussions and disputes about citizens' order of arrival are now a thing of the past!

It should also be noted that, amongst the other advantages, the process of enrolling for school through IRISbox meets the highest standards of data security, and is also a substantial time saver for public education staff in the way they manage enrolments.

Scheduling an appointment with an administrative body will never have been so easy and efficient

Another new function of IRISbox, which will be made available very shortly, will be the possibility of scheduling appointments with administrative bodies (municipal services, ministries, etc.). Municipal services in Forest, Jette and Saint-Gilles will be the first to offer this possibility in early November 2019.

Scheduling an appointment will now be facilitated online thanks to a simple and user-friendly display and the presence of a calendar showing available time slots.

Locating a meeting will also be made easier through the presentation of a map, which will also be included in the confirmation email the citizen receives once they have scheduled their meeting. Links to these mobility applications will facilitate access to the meeting location even further.
