GDPR compliance is a long-term endeavour, which is why it is absolutely necessary to exchange GDPR-related knowledge and experiences.

Therefore, the BRIC invites you to take part in the second DPO/ISA Knowledge Center session, which will take place in our offices on Thursday 6 December from 2 to 5 pm.

  • 14.10 – Impact of the law of 30 July 2018 relative to the protection of private persons with regard to the processing of personal data on the GDPR (by Philippe Canon)
  • 14.50 - Conversation:  Feedback from police districts (by Catherine Braet)
  • 15.10 – Break/networking
  • 15.40 - Incidents, security incidents, data breaches: differences, consequences & processes to be implemented (by Laurent Denis & Alain Houbaille)
  • 16.20 – Validity of legitimate interest as a legal base in the context of the GDPR for public authorities. Case studies and Q&A (by Pascal Van De Walle).
  • 16.40 – Programme proposal for the next session (by Alain Houbaille & Pascal Van De Walle)
  • 17.00 – End of the session
