oblique photographs

The BRIC is making available the oblique photographs taken during the aerial operations carried out in 2012. These images of the Brussels Region, taken in an angle of 45°, highlight zones that are usually concealed (beneath trees, for instance). They provide a better understanding of Brussels by improving the visibility of bridges, historical buildings, façades, etc.
The company CICADE was asked to supply a tool that can be used to display and use these photographs. This platform offers three access levels:

•    UrbIS-Online;
•    UrbIS-aaS;
•    Pro.

The access via UrbIS-Online can be used to consult and download the oblique photographs free of charge.

The access via UrbIS-aaS is free for its users. In addition to consulting and downloading images, it can be used to take precise measurements (height, surface area, distance, perimeter) on the oblique photographs.

Finally, the BRIC offers a Pro access, independent of UrbIS-aaS and secured for all the platform's display and measuring tools. A charge is made for this means of access.
