The BRIC and the Brussels-Capital Region have received confirmation of AnySurfer certification for the websites bric.brussels and be.brussels.

The AnySurfer label was created to improve the accessibility of websites for disabled people and those suffering from various difficulties (the elderly, the colour-blind, the dyslexic, etc.). It also aims to ensure that websites are better adapted to small screens (smartphones, touch tablets), can be used with all browsers and offer improved search engine referencing.

AnySurfer carries out random monitoring to check that the portal complies with the accessibility guidelines on a lasting basis. The AnySurfer label granted has to be renewed every two years.
