The 5th BeGeo, the national conference on geographic information, took place on October 27th, and the "Mobile and Indoor Mapping in the Brussels Region" project, led by the BRIC and Brussels Mobility, excelled by winning the GeoSpatial Professional Award! This wonderful reward honours the successful collaboration between the BRIC and Brussels Mobility teams.

This 2020 event was digital due to the pandemic, and attracted more than 35 speakers and several hundred participants; it was a real success! The BRIC, a key player in mapping in the Brussels-Capital Region, took part with a virtual stand presenting UrbIS solutions, with the collaboration of Claude Hannecart (BRIC) and Ruben Cappelle (BRIC - Brussels Mobility).

BeGeo is the meeting point for stakeholders from the world of geographical information, a place where public authorities, the private sector and the world of research come together to share information and experiences, or just meet up. This event, organised by the National Geographic Institute, in collaboration with Agoria, brings together experts in geographic information, users, but also service providers and product suppliers.
