invitation 04/12/14

The BRIC is organising a UrbIS Users Club on 4 December 2014. Once again, the programme is busy: first of all, the issue of how the division of land in the Brussels-Capital Region is developing will be covered. Ms  Sandrine Lejeune and Mr Alain Bertrand from the Federal Public Service for Finance – Land Registry will explain the initial steps in the cooperation with the BRIC for the joint improvement of the division of land.
The Digital Surface Model (DSM) and its applications will be the second subject of the day: Mr Charles Beumier and Mr Idrissa Mahamadou, researchers at the Signal & Image Centre of the Royal Military School, will present the operating results obtained from recent data held by the BRIC (aerial imagery, LiDAR, vector data, etc.).
The results of the Hackathon Open Data Brussels will also be presented, and the UrbIS Users Club will end with the presentation of the UrbIS news (progress of the “2014 – 2016 Flights” project, status of the revision of the UrbIS model, the Geoportal, the UrbIS-aaS applications, etc.).
