This Monday Mr Hervé Feuillien, Director-General of the BRIC, and Ms Céline Vanderborght, Smart City Manager, welcomed a delegation from South Korea.
More specifically from Geumcheon, one of the 25 districts of the city of Seoul, the delegation consisted of the Mayor of Geumcheon,  representatives of the government agency KETEP (Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning) and the technopole of Daegu, which specialises in scientific research.

The Brussels-Capital Region was one of the stops on a study trip through Europe (with Paris and Amsterdam), based around the construction of the Smart City and the development of the smart service economy. Against this background, the BRIC presented the initiatives taken in this regard in the Brussels-Capital Region.
