BRIC Central Procurement Agency
Since 3 July 2015, the BRIC has awarded its contracts as a Central Procurement Agency. You, too, can make use of this tool for all your orders.
A central procurement agency is a contracting authority that awards contracts in its own name and on behalf of third parties.
These third parties are beneficiary contracting authorities that can become affiliated to the central procurement agency and subsequently to the contracts it has awarded, and in this way purchase IT products and services without having to place public procurement contracts themselves.
To take part in such contracts, you first have to become affiliated to the central procurement agency. This is a one-off procedure.
In practical terms, this means that from now on, all present and future users of the e-catalogue will be able to purchase the following equipment via our Central Procurement Agency:
- PCs, laptops and digital tablets; printers and photocopiers
- (Interactive) projectors, screen, teleconferencing systems
- Servers, switches, racks, cables, UPS
- Large-scale printers
- Apple equipment (Mac Pro, iMac, MacBook, iPad)
- Rugged laptops
- All Microsoft licences and cartographic services
Go to the Central Procurement Agency > E-catalogue > "Central Procurement Agency" tab
For contracts available before 3 July 2015, an agency agreement had to be signed (joint contracts). As of this date, such an agreement is no longer necessary to benefit from BRIC contracts. Online affiliation to the Central Procurement Agency is, however, required.
